Job Description

We are inviting applications for the position of “Executive Assistant to the Director”, for working closely with the Director and the Management team of Child Health Research Foundation. We will be accepting applications until 20th October 2022.

Required Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications and Skills: · A degree in administration or management will be preferred; applicants with science background will also be considered · Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management · Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with new programs and softwares · Proficiency in English is essential · Special preference will be given to “A” Level degree holders and those with a science background · Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities · Exceptional interpersonal skills · Friendly and professional demeanor Required Qualifications, Experience: · Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of experience working on a symmetrical position · Highly organized and particularly attentive to details · Enthusiastic to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment and be willing to take initiative · Must possess problem solving ability, critical thinking and management skill and be able to work independently Core Competency: · Teamwork and collaboration · Organizational awareness · Accountability · Communication · Excellent communication skills in both English and Bangla

Role

· Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, maintaining calendars and interfacing with donors and partners · Prepare internal and external corporate documents for team members and partners · Schedule meetings and appointments and manage travel itineraries and visa applications of senior officials · Arrange corporate events to take place outside of the workplace, such as annual meetings, conferences, and staff appreciation events · Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents · Uphold a strict level of confidentiality · Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff, collaborators and partners · Occasional national and international travels to aide in CHRF-related activities and meeting attendance
