On the August 21, 2023, the Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) formally embarked on a collaboration with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of North South University (NSU) to develop biosensors for the detection of microbes in wastewater.

The MoU was signed by CHRF's Director & Senior Scientist, Dr. Senjuti Saha and the Honorable Vice Chancellor of NSU, Professor Atiqul Islam. Our collaborator on this project is Dr. Fariah Mahzabeen of NSU, who is an amazing engineer-scientist who made her way back to Bangladesh after her PhD in Stanford

CHRF will continue fostering such interdisciplinary collaborations to break barriers and solve our problems locally.
